Integral Zen is part of the Hollow Bones Order of the Rinzai Zen Lineage.  The Abbott of Hollow Bones is JunPo Kando Denis Kelly, Roshi who received Dharma Transmission (Inka) from Eido T. Shimano Roshi at Dai Bosatsu Zendo in New York.

Sensei DoShin Hannya MJ Nelson is the founder and resident teacher at Integral Zen.  He was ordained as a Rinzai Zen Priest in a ceremony on April 25th, 2005 at the Zen Mountain Center in southern California.  He is cofounder of the Poetry of Dying Project.
