The Mondo Zen™ process as developed by Hollow Bones founder JunPo Denis Kelly, Roshi is an extremely powerful transformative process. It is a modern western adaptation of the ancient Chinese and Japanese Koan training of Rinzai Zen. It is a dialectical dialogue between Zen teacher and students, a direct two way transmission of pure awareness, of pure meditative mind. This is a deep transformational practice which allows us to choose to bring clarity, wisdom, deep caring and compassion directly into our lives and our relationships.

By practicing meditation and Mondo Zen™ we strengthen and deepen our ability to remain present and not disappear or run away from our negative emotions and experiences. When our insight is deep enough, we will finally able to see the true cause and cost of war. Only then will the flowers of Peace blossom and their sweet fragrance fill the world.
War ultimately begins with a separation and an internal contraction. There is pure, empty awareness and a contraction arises. This contraction begins with the creation of a separate self and moves to self-referencing. This evaluative self-referencing leads to attachments and expectations. This is the beginning of all war and suffering.
Wear loose fitting dark clothing without labels. Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances like perfume or cologne.
There is a $75 fee for the event to be paid when you register, and there will be a request for dana, donation (an opportunity for each person to demonstrate generosity in support the work, the teacher and the teaching).
